North East Futures UTC is located in central Newcastle in the newly redeveloped Stephenson Quarter.
The building replicates a business environment with state of the art facilities.
You will work with students and parents/carers to contribute to improving whole school attendance outcomes, reduce barriers to attendance and persistent absence and raise achievement. The role will involve undertaking home visits, inputting and analysing student attendance data, undertaking administration duties relating to attendance and implementing strategies to improve attendance.
We are looking for a colleague with knowledge of policies and statutory guidance on student attendance, effective communication skills and the ability to work with students, parents/carers and external agencies.
