The Early Help Youth & Community Service is looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated individuals who are passionate about helping young people thrive. Whether you are an experienced youth worker or looking to take your first steps into the profession, we have exciting opportunities available across our open access and targeted youth programmes.

As part of our team, you will help deliver engaging, creative and inclusive activities that empower young people, build confidence, develop resilience and create opportunities for them to reach their full potential. Every session provides a chance to inspire, encourage and support young people as they navigate their journey towards adulthood.

No two days in youth work are ever the same. One moment you could be helping a young person discover a new passion, the next you could be offering support through challenges, celebrating achievements, or creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impact.

What you'll be doing:
  • Building positive and trusted relationships with young people.
  • Delivering fun, engaging and inclusive activities.
  • Encouraging participation, confidence and personal development.
  • Supporting young people with their wellbeing, aspirations and goals.
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team committed to making a difference.Youth group sessions are typically 2.5 hours in duration, delivered during term time at locations across Redcar and Cleveland, with additional opportunities for work available during school holidays.
