KTS Academy are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and forward-thinking school community from October 2026

Contract Type: Permanent (Six-month probation period)
Contracted Hours: 30 hours, 25 minutes, Monday-Friday, Term Time only
NJC Scale Point: SCP 4-6
Salary: £26,016 - £26,847 pro-rota (Actual pay £18,085 - £18,663) In line with the new NJC Government Pay Scales

Closing Date: Monday 21st September, at 9am.
Interview Date: Thursday 24th September – All Day
Start Date: To be discussed at Interview


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and who is keen to develop professionally within a highly nurturing environment.

At KTS, every role matters. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in helping our pupils to succeed, working closely with experienced teachers and a dedicated staff team.


About You

We are looking for individuals who:
 
  • Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Are resilient, positive, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment
  • Are committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND is desirable, but not essential — we value the right attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn.
