Further Information
At MAEPS (Moorbridge Alternative Education Partnership School) our underlying principle is that education for the 21st Century is driven by the belief that all children and young people, regardless of background or ability, should have access to a great education and we believe we provide this.

Our vision is clear: to Build Bridges and ensure that all young people have access to a nurturing and high quality educational establishment which helps them to access Post 16 Education, Training or Employment.

Moorbridge is a popular Pupil Referral unit in the heart of North Tyneside. We strive to develop inquiring, well-rounded and confident individuals who share an understanding and respect for each other.

Moorbridge is based on 3 sites, each offering a different type of provision to cater for the diverse needs of its pupils.  The school is proud of its broad and balanced KS3 and KS4 curriculum, and its aim is for as many KS4 students as possible to achieve 5 GCSE’s 9-4 / equivalent.

Classroom Teaching Assistant for KS3 or KS4

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at Moorbridge Pupil Referral Unit.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students, who have additional needs in the areas of Social, Emotional and Mental health (SEMH).
