The role:
• Installation of network infrastructure, including external underground/overhead cabling, internal structured cable installation, and supporting infrastructure (e.g. splices, fibre terminals, patch panels, cabinets).
• Assist with underground telecoms duct surveys and route proving based on existing duct network plans, rode & roping activities, and network planning.
• Report progress, defects, and blockages to the operations team.
• Installation of high-speed radio links, working from a MEWP (Cherry-picker) or on roof-tops.
• Assist with installation/maintenance projects and general housekeeping within our datacentre/network facilities.
• The role will involve some out of normal hours working.
