Apprenticeships with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council

Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart or change your career?

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is recruiting over 40 apprentices across a range of professions to start employment in September 2022.

Apprenticeships help you to gain work experience, knowledge and skills whilst working towards a recognised qualification. The Council is looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who want to contribute to the success of the local authority by providing first class services for the people of the Borough. Applications from people with all levels of experience who would like to build a successful career with an award-winning Council are welcomed. Anybody over the age of 16 can apply.

All Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council apprentices are paid at least the national minimum wage for age and are provided with a dedicated mentor.  This is in addition to all the usual benefits of employment with the Council including a generous annual leave package of 26 days plus bank holidays, access to mental and physical wellbeing support and the Local Government Pension Scheme
