An exciting opportunity has arisen with County Durham Housing Group, a progressive social housing provider in County Durham. County Durham Housing Group are bringing some ICT Services in house and are looking to recruit for the new ICT Service Desk and Desktop Support team.

As part of this new ICT team, the ICT Senior Engineer will work as part of a small team, in a challenging and rewarding environment, providing excellent customer service to the dispersed staff of CDHG.

You will work in a role that will encourage you to be proactive, use your own initiative, learn and develop to your full potential, and in doing so help improve and enhance the ICT service to ensure the group and its staff greatly benefits from the use of Information Technology.

The post holder will act as the Company’s expert in relation to managed desktop services, specifically developing a proactive ICT service to ensure the group has automated and efficient systems in place to image PC’s, Laptops and Tablet computers and also the automatic deployment of software packages across the full estate of CDHG computers. Experience of knowledge of SCCM would be a great advantage.

The post holder will be expected to lead and manage various infrastructure and desktop projects and work programmes which support CDHG business objectives and provide ICT senior desktop support for CDHG customers and assist other ICT staff.
