Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have what it takes to become part of a great team? Then this could be the job for you. An opportunity has arisen in the Community Services team for a dynamic and well-motivated individual to play a key role in driving forward commercial opportunities as part of the newly formed Construction and Facility Services section.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and progressing opportunities, initiatives and ideas which will enhance the section. Your areas of focus will include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, seeking and developing commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for preparing and the delivery of bids and tenders for all commercial contract opportunities. It is expected that you will be able to develop new areas of work as new commercial opportunities emerge.

This is a wide ranging role and the successful candidate must be adept at prioritising over competing demands, balancing multiple tasks and ensuring all deadlines are met with high quality outcomes. You will be expected to work with a cross section of people both internally within the Community Services team and in a wider commercial market. Well-developed interpersonal skills are essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively engage with people at all levels. Experience of preparing high quality, written bids, and a proven track record in developing commercial opportunities would be a distinct advantage.
