The Ethnic Minority Achievement Team (EMAT) are seeking a suitably experienced bilingual teaching assistant to join the team for a fixed term period. This is a temporary post due to grant funding.
The role will involve supporting newly arrived children from abroad, who have little or no English, in Middlesbrough Primary and Secondary schools. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about improving educational outcomes for International New Arrivals to the Middlesbrough area.
Applicants should be fluent English and Romanian speakers and have experience of working with children. The ability to communicate effectively, use your initiative and be flexible, is as important as experience and qualifications.
