The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in delivering the Council's strategic Capital programme. The team's current and planned project portfolio includes commercial office builds, highways and civil engineering, and housing schemes.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a programme of projects across a range of service areas and will manage a team of Project Managers and Project Officers.

You will have approximately 5 years' experience as programme/project lead within a programme management/project management/construction environment, including on highly complex, high value and significantly demanding schemes.

You will also be able to demonstrable a track record in successful strategic project /programme management in one or more of the following fields: major commercial development, regeneration, housing, highways or civil engineering schemes.
