An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead ICT Operations Officer to join our ICT Operations Team. The role will require you to support the team of ICT Operations Officers and ICT Operations Technicians and line management of a small team of Service Desk Officers.

Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, you will have experience of leading a team, leading ICT projects and a proven track record of working in an ITIL Framework environment to deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd line responses to around 700 system users across all service areas and sites. You will understand all aspects of company-wide systems, and the use of ICT to deliver value for money and customer-focussed services.

The successful candidate will have qualifications in ICT and experience including server hardware, server operating systems and applications, vmware, storage, MS Exchange, MS SQL, Citrix (Xen Server, XenDesktop and XenApp) and Backup technologies. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a calm, confident, positive and supportive team member and have the ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet deadlines.
