Housing Solutions provides a range of housing advice to assist customers to improve their properties, live independently and gain access to suitable accommodation.

The Housing Advice line offers a first point of contact into Housing Solutions. Customers are taken through a full triage assessment to determine the level of advice & support required. This streamlined system ensures consistency in service delivery across the County for those customers in housing need and aims to:

* Provide an initial triage assessment of customers housing needs.
* Provide initial holistic assessment of customer’s, to include debts, welfare benefits, employability, health & wellbeing & safeguarding
* Provide initial advice, sign-posting, self-help and guidance. ·
* Ensure customers, where appropriate, are referred to Housing Solutions Specialist Officers

The successful candidate will develop skills to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the team to help the service operate effectively and efficiently.

Applicants should either have or expect to achieve 4 GCSE’s at Grades A-C/9-4 or hold an equivalent and relevant qualification.
