Band 1: £16,394- £16,755 pro-rata per annum (£8.50 - £8.68 per hour)
We are seeking two new members of staff to join our highly motivated and hard-working Catering team. You will be expected to prepare and serve food, handle payments and achieve high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness. Our kitchen provides a break and lunch service for students aged 9-18 so you will need to be able to work well with children and young people, as well as part of a team.
The working hours for post 1, are 12.5 hours per week, initial working hours are likely to be 12 midday to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The working hours for post 2, are 10 hours per week, initial working hours are likely to be 12.30pm to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
These hours may change from time to time as the schools’ operational needs change.
Able to work independently or as part of a team, you will ideally have previous experience of food preparation and serving in a commercial setting as you will be required to operate a range of kitchen equipment and work to the school’s health and safety protocols. Excellent attendance, reliability and punctuality are important to us and the ideal candidate will also have some flexibility with their working hours.
