Job location: Based with our North Durham locality sports development team.
To deliver a sports specific and multi skills coaching programme within the locality. Programmes will range from school curriculum and after school provision to Leisure centre coaching and diversionary sports provision in areas of high anti- social behaviour. The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality programme for children and young people that deliver the outcomes of the Culture & Sport Services Strategy as well as supporting partners in school sport, community safety and other funding partners.
Experience of establishing and delivering multi sport programmes for young people in both a school and community setting is essential.
Required Qualifications:
Current NGB Qualification at minimum of Level 2 in one sport
Current NGB Qualification at Level 1 in one additional sport
First Aid qualified
It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Tuesday 26th February 2019.
