The Northumberland Contact Service supervise contact sessions for children and families across the county of Northumberland. We supervise contacts within our dedicated contact venues and within the community, observing, monitoring and completing a record of sessions. We work in partnership with the locality Social Work teams from which we receive all referrals, promoting and supporting contact between children and their families. We offer a high level of support and training to all Contact Officers.
The main office base is in Ashington, Northumberland, however staff will work across the County adopting agile and flexible working.
The Northumberland Contact Service is recruiting a number of part time Contact Officers to work in the afternoons and early evening
We are looking for people who have experience of working with children, young people and families, NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in childcare/social care or equivalent and have access to their own transport along with a full driving licence.
