The governors of Our Lady of the Rosary RCVA Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Deputy Headteacher who is a practising and committed Catholic to work alongside the Headteacher in continuing to further improve the education we provide for our children. Our Lady of the Rosary is a very warm and caring school with an outstanding Catholic ethos, strong family links and a very hard-working staff. We are currently in the process of converting to Academy status and becoming part of Northern Saints Catholic Education Trust.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
• Can provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change;
• Is a practising Catholic, committed to the ethos and vision of Catholic Education;
• Is an outstanding class teacher;
• Will promote the highest aspirations and expectations of learning and behaviour;
• Is committed to inclusive education;
• Has highly effective communication and inter personal skills and the ability to enthuse, guide and empower staff, governors and pupils;
• Will take a full and active role in all aspects of school life through working alongside our families and local community.
