The City Alarm and Emergency Centre is a 24/7 service which operates within a purpose built state of the art facility offering alarm and CCTV monitoring. The operations within the Emergency Centre are subject to a number of legislative and procedural guidelines, but a common sense and decent values approach is required.

The City Alarm and Emergency service aims to meet customer expectations and our operators have a crucial role to play in this. We are therefore looking to appoint enthusiastic and customer friendly Emergency Centre Operator to enhance our acknowledged quality service and make our living and working environment a safer place.

We are looking to recruit to our back shift rostered team which is individuals who are required to work between the hours of 14:00 and 22:00 within four days on with four days off pattern, you may also be asked to cover for staff absence, sometimes at short notice. The successful candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and administration skills combined with the ability to respond accurately and immediately to incidents. You must have the ability to work as an effective team member.

Experience of Windows based applications is essential along with a flexible approach. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role both internally and externally, you must have or be capable of working towards the Security Industry Authority License for Public Open Space CCTv Monitoring.
