Addison Street is a purpose built residential short break service for children / young people with learning and / or physical disabilities aged between 8 and 17 years of age. We offer an opportunity for children / young people to enjoy regular short breaks away from home where they can make new friends and experience a wide range of social and leisure activities.

We require a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Full time Residential Child Care Officers to join our Staff Team. You would be expected to deliver direct care which will involve supporting the children to develop, maintain and enhance social, independence and communication skills in partnership with Parents / Carers, Social Worker, Schools and Health Professionals. You would be expected to work within a rota system, including weekends, sleep in duties and waking nights.

All staff are expected to hold, or obtain, a level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People or a recognised equivalent qualification.
