You will safeguard and promote the welfare of the City’s most vulnerable unborn babies, children and young people, through the delivery of a high quality service by working in accordance with best practice, procedures and legislative requirements. Direct working with children and young people is a crucial and fundamental requirement of this role.
The successful candidate will develop/ promote and act as a role model in terms of best practice, supporting the Team Manager with operational management tasks and overseeing and supporting the work of less experienced colleagues within the team. To sign off Statutory Assessments and reports as agreed by Manager within the Scheme of Delegation and to deputise for the Team Manager if and when required.
