(BOLDON SCHOOL)
MPS

Fixed Term post for 1 year initially

Required from September 2019

Due to the increasing popularity of our rapidly improving school, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher of Science who has vision, can take initiative and will contribute to our outstanding outcomes for students. The Science department is a strength of the school and is currently rated at least good. We are fully staffed with keen, enthusiastic and qualified science specialist teachers. This has allowed us to make rapid improvement with 2018 results showing good outcomes for students in combined science and outstanding outcomes for students studying separate science.

You will have the drive, commitment and excellent organisational skills necessary to work within our successful faculty and meet the current and future needs of all our students.

The post will initially be temporary for one academic year, with the likelihood of it becoming a permanent position for a suitable candidate. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those that are just coming into teaching.

You will:
• Be an outstanding teacher of Chemistry/Science and be willing to participate in further development.
• Have a passion for teaching Science and have the potential to inspire students with a wide range of teaching and learning strategies.
