32 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable person to join Archbishop Runcie Church of England VA First School. The post holder will be expected to cover lessons, supervise classes during the absence of the class teacher and will be expected to work with and supervise small groups of students under the guidance of teaching staff. This will include implementing programmes, managing student behaviour and assisting pupils in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

We are looking for a team player who will be committed to supporting the ongoing development our school and who can support and uphold the strong Christian ethos of the school.

* have experience of teaching in all Key Stages across the first school age range.

* have successful, recent experience of planning, teaching and assessing
