As part of this new exciting opportunity we are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and committed individuals to deliver environmental enhancements and to be part of the Neighbourhood Streetscene Action Teams to help maintain a clean and tidy Borough as part of a Neighbourhood Streetscene approach.
Typical duties will include:
Street Cleansing , Litter Picking, Open Space Grounds Maintenance, removal of graffiti, dog fouling, litter, fly tipping, collection of domestic and trade waste and bulk waste streams and assisting in community events / activities.
Operation of a variety of vehicles including Vans, Pick –Ups, Refuse Collection Vehicles and Mechanical Sweepers up to 7.5tonnes. Other duties include Grass Cutting, Strimming.
The role has a requirement for the successful applicant to work Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 9.25 hours per day to deliver the services.
