Further Information
Together for Children currently offers an independent Family Group Conference service, which sits within the Early Help Service. The Department for Education have agreed to fund Together for Children for two years to deliver a Family Group Conference service pilot for families with children at the pre-proceedings stage to improve outcomes for children at Level 3 or 4.

We are looking to recruit to four posts that will sit within Corporate and Commercial Services and will support a pilot delivered by practitioners located within Early Help to families with children open to Children’s Social Care. These posts are:

Project Manager and Performance Lead, Grade 8 (Fixed term for 2 years)
Salary: £33799 - £37849 per annum

Senior HR Advisor, Grade 8 (Fixed term for 1 year)
Salary: £33799 - £37849 per annum

Business Support Assistant, Grade 2 (Fixed term for 2 years)
Salary: £18795 - £19171 per annum

Business Support Assistant (24 hours), Grade 2 (Fixed term for 2 years)
Salary: pro rata £18795 - £19171 per annum

The project team will fulfil a number of key tasks including:

• Planning, developing and implementing the Family Group Conferencing Programme and taking responsibility for its budget.
• Developing key performance indicators, which align the Family Group Conferencing Programme.
• Producing regular reports and updates.
• Producing and evaluating data and information to develop business analysis, projections and trends for incorporation into strategic and operational decision-making.
• Liaising with the other 21 local authorities who are part of the Family Group Conferencing pilot to develop national best practice.
• Reporting to DfE and contributing to the What Works for Children’s Social Care evaluation.
• Recruiting and selecting operational staff to deliver the Family Group Conferencing service and a manager to oversee it.
• Providing HR administration, performance management and specialist HR advice and support.
• Communicating the Company’s Induction Programme to the new staff members and giving them the best possible welcome to the Company.
• Creating and issuing contractual documentation and responding to enquiries on terms and conditions of employment in line with workforce transformation and nationally derived terms.
• Inputting and checking payroll data.
• Providing administration support across the Family Group Conferencing Programme.
