Practice Lead, Social Work Academy - temporary until 31st March 2021
Salary: £38,813 - £42,683
Job Location: Coulson Street Spennymoor, County Durham, however you may be required to work at any DCC council office.
The Practice Lead will be responsible for the supervision, support and assessment of newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) undertaking the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) as part of the Social Work Academy.
Practice leads will provide support to social workers who wish to progress to Senior Social Worker, preparing portfolios of evidence.
The Practice Lead will also support the social work reform agenda when capacity allows.
Required qualifications: Social work qualification, Current HCPC social work registration and Practice educator qualification or commitment to work towards the qualification.
