Working in a reactive Business Support team supporting a number of service areas across the council which include Children’s and Adult Social Care; Safeguarding; Fostering; Early Help and Intervention; Regulatory Services and the Complaints team.
We are looking for excellent communications skills, the ability to deal with challenging situations and work to statutory deadlines. You should be able to multi-task and deal with changing priorities. It would be an advantage if you have experience of CareFirst and Total view, however training will be available. You should be fully familiar with secure email and MS Office.
Some of these roles involve taking notes or actions of meetings. In some cases this is completed live using a PC during the meeting. Those meetings are predominantly Child Protection meetings and do contain sensitive discussions in relation to children and families.
