The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Support Assistant Level 1 for South Hylton Primary Academy required for December 2019.

South Hylton Primary Academy is a part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust, with 290 pupils on roll. We offer full time Nursery class and in addition, a very successful provision for 2 year olds. Our children are happy and motivated to learn and are supported by a very dedicated team of staff.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a dedicated team alongside teachers in supporting the teaching and learning and individual needs. As this role will be predominately in our EYFS Setting, knowledge and experience of supporting children and delivering interventions within this Key Stage would be desirable.

The successful candidate will join a successful Multi Academy Trust where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
