Darlington Borough Council is looking for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Assistant Catering Manager to work in the School Meals and Community Catering service.
The role is to support the efficient management of catering provision across seven units within Darlington.
Confidence in managing catering teams in the delivery of high quality food and service is essential along with a sound understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices within kitchens.
You should be highly motivated and hardworking with the ability to cook and multitask in this hands-on role.
Excellent communication skills and a passion to strive for first class catering provision in schools and care homes in Darlington is essential.
