Business Support Officer required to provide flexible and responsive administrative support to the Cleveland Emergency Planning Unit.
Based in central Stockton, you will support a small team of officers by providing efficient secretarial and administrative support. You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or similar qualification). You must have experience in a range of general administrative functions within an office based environment with the ability to prioritise and organise multiple work streams whilst meeting deadlines.
Your main duties will include;
Answering telephone calls and redirecting/taking messages,
Manage incoming/outgoing emails,
Organising meetings and booking venues,
Collating information from partners and officers,
Taking and issuing minutes from meetings and events,
Updating and maintaining databases and spreadsheets,
Ordering goods or services
General administration support activities.
Your role will be integral to supporting the Emergency Planning Officers in their day-to-day duties. You will work closely with colleagues from partner agencies including emergency services and local government.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) level 2.
