The Environment, Housing and Leisure Service have a vacancy for the position of Plant and Equipment Co-ordinator within the Housing Property and Construction team. This post is full time and permanent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed and successful team.

We are looking for a highly motivated Plant and Equipment Co-ordinator who will support the service and with a proven track record in successfully delivering a plant and equipment hiring service, as well as repairs, maintenance and servicing activities.

The job role requires you to co-ordinate the Authority’s plant and equipment arrangements to support the delivery of the Housing Repairs and Maintenance as well as the Authorities construction offer. This will include all associated administration as well as being proactive in reviewing and monitoring our approach to procurement and supply of new plant and equipment.

You will be required to have a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance and experience in the maintenance of petrol and diesel powered equipment, as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills.
