The Governors of The Federation of Longhorsley and Whalton C of E Schools are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to become part of our hardworking, forward thinking and friendly team as soon as possible.

This Early Years post is to support the teaching and learning of our youngest children in our Nursery and Reception unit to implement the school curriculum and facilitate maximum impact on pupil progress to secure the foundations of learning.

This Level 3 post will be on a permanent variable contract between 20 and 32.5 hrs, starting at 32.5hrs and will be based initially at Longhorsley, although candidates must have their own car to be able to travel between sites whenever necessary.

The successful candidate will be required to:

-Be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking
-Be able to uphold our Christian ethos through our Core Christian Values
-Attend training relevant to the post and be willing to go the extra mile
Please note that the successful candidate will be employed by the governing body, not Northumberland County Council and that they are employed to work across the Federation at either schools.
