Revenues, Benefits and Exchequer

Newcastle City Council Revenues, Benefits and Exchequer Team is undergoing major transformation and we are implementing new and leaner operating models. We are looking to recruit experienced officers to join our successful and dynamic team.

As Revenues Officer you will be responsible for accurately assessing council tax liability as well as recovery and enforcement of council tax debt. You will work as part of a team dealing with all aspects of council tax and although training will be provided, ideally you will have experience of working in this area or working within financial or customer services environment. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to process high volumes of work accurately within prescribed deadlines.
