This post is to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Legal Services Unit seeks to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable lawyer. You will be expected to have a good understanding and experience of the law and procedure relating to Housing and also to civil and criminal litigation, although the majority of the work will be housing related. You will have an eye for detail and good organisational skills, which will enable you to carry a substantial workload.
Flexible and innovative in your approach, you will help us to positively develop new areas of practice. You will offer your first-class legal advice to colleagues, committees and working groups as well as outside bodies where appropriate.
