An opportunity for a Senior Social Worker has become available in our Community Mental Health Social Work Team. Applications are invited from professionally qualified Social Workers, with substantial experience as a Social Worker in this area of Adult Care. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leadership position. An AMHP qualification is not essential but highly desirable. The successful candidate will certainly be able demonstrate working knowledge of the Mental Health Act.

Your role as a Senior Social Worker, as part of a dynamic leadership team, will be to ensure a high-quality response, the most effective use of resources and to build on existing, positive relationships with our partner agencies.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and social care assessment skills, plus a solid understanding of the relevant statutory frameworks, and best practice. They will have proven experience, within a busy social work team and the ability to meet targets and deadlines, including management of Data Quality as well as working knowledge of MHA and MCA.
