Bamburgh School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring Home/School Teaching Assistant to join our successful team on a fixed term basis from January 2020.
We are a school for pupils age 4-16 whose special needs cover a broad spectrum of medical, physical, social, emotional and moderate learning difficulties.
The post is to support the learning of a named child with work within the home environment and support their transition into school where appropriate.
We require the following:
• An excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for learning and raising standards
• The ability to inspire and develop pupils in all areas of learning and achievement
• Experience of working with children with SEN
• A commitment to contributing to school life and our community
• The skills to provide feedback to pupils/parents and teaching colleagues regarding progress and achievement.
