Post: Advisory Inclusion Teacher - SEND
Grade: MPS - UPR3 plus TLR

We are seeking a full-time Advisory Inclusion Teacher to work within our highly valued Cognition and Learning Team with children who have SEND. The role will involve working in schools to provide consultation, assessment, advice on interventions and strategies and modelling of approaches to remove barriers to inclusion and promote the achievement and wellbeing of individual pupils and groups of pupils within school settings.

The successful applicant will enjoy the benefits of working within a small, supportive team with a wide range of expertise and experience and an interest in new developments. The post is based at the Education Development Centre, Spennymoor and involves travel across the county

You will have:- -
• a relevant qualification i.e. teaching qualification
' • up to date knowledge of SEND legislation
• considerable experience of working in the mainstream classroom with children with SEND and extensive knowledge of strategies, approaches and resources appropriate for children with SEND
• experience of delivering training in SEND
• a commitment to developing your skills and knowledge
• a commitment to collaborative and partnership working
• means to travel distances between schools
