37 hours per week (split shift) 7am to 11.30am and 3pm to 6pm

We require an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable Facility Supervisor to work at St Vincent’s RC Primary School in Walker.

Caretaking experience in a school would be an advantage. Good communication skills and the ability to work with limited supervison along with the ability to regularly bend, stoop, and lift equipment / materials/ furniture and climb ladders are essential requirements of this post.

You will be responsible for the security of the premises, setting alarms, general health and safety issues relating to the building, the undertaking of cleaning duties for a specific area of the school, and general porterage duties. You will supervise the cleaning staff and ensure a high standard of service.

You will need to be flexible around key events in the school calendar e.g. parent evenings, governing body meetings, summer fairs etc, the dates will be confirmed in advance.
