We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to lead our busy and vibrant school library. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining our high standards, developing literacy and a love of reading.
We are very proud of our library; it is a great resource and all students benefit from the outstanding facilities that are on offer.
The right candidate may have previous experience working in libraries as well as being up to date with new technologies. Experience of working with children would also be advantageous. It is essential that you have excellent communication and IT skills, are well organised and have the ability to stay composed under pressure in a busy working environment. As part of the role you will make the library the information hub at the heart of the school.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within an established and supportive team of colleagues, and will have the benefit of working in our modern and well-resourced library.
