Percy Main Primary is a GOOD School (Ofsted 2016) who put children’s needs at the heart of all we do. We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to support in our Early Years Foundation Stage.

We require a TA to work alongside pupils within the classroom and who has EXCELLENT knowledge of the EYFS curriculum including creating amazing opportunities for children’s play in their continuous provision. We have a number of pupils with additional needs within the classroom. Good knowledge of SEMH, Autism and Speech and Language difficulties would be beneficial.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with children in a caring and nurturing way. The successful candidate must be able to plan next steps for our pupils and communicate with parents. The successful candidate must be willing to be adaptable to change, proactive and an excellent team player. We can offer you a supportive work environment in a lively and thriving school. Due to the nature of the role, key skills in planning and assessing pupils will be a requirement of the post.

Candidates must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification.

This post is fixed term until the 31st August 2021, term time only over 195 days, 32.5 hours per week.
