The Governors and Head Teacher are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled teacher to join our team. We were judged to be a good school and close to outstanding by OFSTED in April 2018 and we are constantly striving to improve the quality of teaching and learning to further enhance our current provision to become outstanding.

The successful applicant must:
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Have a clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching and learning and be able to communicate this to others
• Have high expectations of children’s learning, attainment and behaviour
• Be committed to the development of a creative curriculum by embracing new ideas
• Demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and personal development
• Have the ability to inspire and support colleagues
• Show a commitment to the whole life of the school and to offering extra-curricular activities
• Be enterprising, hardworking and professional

Those applicants who are selected for interview will be observed teaching in their current setting or if you are an NQT teaching a class at Seaham Trinity Primary School.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
