Part time - 5.83 hours per week
Term time only, plus 3 training days
(1.17 hours per day), normally 12noon to 1.10pm
To start as soon as possible after the closing date.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a reliable and self-motivated Midday Supervisory Assistant.

If you can work as part of a supportive and hardworking team, then this could be the opportunity that you are looking for to gain experience in a vibrant and forward-thinking school.

The ability to work as part of the team is essential.

Positive and supportive relationships with staff and children will help make this challenging post rewarding and enjoyable.

Any relevant child care qualifications or first aid training would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring children are safely supervised at all times.
• Communicate effectively with children.
• May involve supervising and play with children who have SEND in small group or 1 to 1.
• Liaise with class teachers and Midday Supervisor to inform of any welfare issues
• Lead children in play in the playground and in classrooms during wet playtimes.

This school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
