Social Workers required to be part of a temporary Pool to work as and when required

FULLTIME AND PART-TIME POSTS

Salary:
£27,905 - £31,371 pre-progression / £32,878 - £36,876 post-progression (pro-rata for part time)

Social Workers will play a vital role in helping children, young people and their families through the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

As a result, Adult Care are increasing their social work workforce on an temporary basis, with the possibility of this being extended linked to COVID-19, to work on the frontline to help us support vulnerable adults in Durham.

You will work flexibly to carry out a range of duties to support our most vulnerable adults, potentially supporting a range of community based teams across all disciplines.

You will be working directly with the public and therefore members of the ‘shielded population’ would be exempt from applying for this role.

Having a current Driving Licence and access to a car for work is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.

You will need to hold a social work qualification and we would work with you to ensure your Social Work England registration is in place as required.
