Sport and leisure would like to recruit a Swimming Instructor, based at Waves, to deliver North Tyneside Councils school swimming provision and Learn to Swim Programme.

The main duties are to deliver swimming instruction in accordance with the facilities Learn to Swim and school programme, inline with Swim England standards and industry best practice. This will include promoting a positive image of NTC, encouraging participation, recording and maintaining registers and attending meetings and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills, provide an efficient, friendly service and be able to work as part of a team.

Candidates must posses a level 2 swimming teacher’s qualification.

The position is permanent 24.75 hours per week, term time only over 195 days.
You would be required to work the following hours each week:

Monday 1pm-6.45pm, Tuesday 1pm-6.45pm, Wednesday 11.00am-6.45pm and Friday 11am-5.30pm.
