Bereavement Services Officer £26,317 - £28,785 (pending pay award April 2020)
We are looking to recruit a Bereavement Services Officer to support the delivery of our caring, professional and high-quality bereavement service.
You will be responsible for the day to day organisation of Sunderland Crematorium, 10 cemeteries, and operational supervision of bereavement teams working in them.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of achievement. If you have delivered outcomes through motivating, leading and empowering teams, have established a strong performance culture including effective performance measures and improving service delivery we would like to hear from you.
You should hold or be able to achieve an Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) Certificate in Cemetery Management, Crematorium Management or Office Management and hold or be able to achieve the full ICCM Diploma in Cemetery and Crematorium Management, as well as be able to gain membership of the ICCM.
