An opportunity has arisen in North Tyneside Council’s Housing Options Team, for the role of Housing Options Officer.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and committed to delivering an excellent service. The role plays an important part in the assessment and pre-allocation checks of applicants applying for housing and to ensure the timely advertising of the Council’s available homes. The successful applicant will carry out shortlisting and relevant checks on housing applications and let vacant homes in line with the Councils Letting’s Policy. You will ensure all processes and lettings are carried out within set timescales.
You will have experience of delivering an excellent customer service, with strong communication skills and be performance driven. Housing experience is preferred.
