Further Information
A skilled, thoughtful and enthusiastic teaching assistant is required to join our well established, hard working and experienced peripatetic team supporting children with visual and hearing impairment. Experience within the specialist field of hearing and / or visual impairment is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate would work across a range of age groups and educational settings. Candidates must be able to work as part of a well informed team.

Candidates must be committed to continuing professional development.

The successful candidate will be give a full induction and professional development programme. The service is committed to safeguarding all pupils. The successful candidate will need to carry out the Service’s Code of Conduct and have DBS clearance.

This post is fixed term for one year in the first instance, 37 hours per week, term time only over 195 days.

Visits to the service base at Beacon Hill School prior to application are most welcome.
