This is an exciting opportunity for you to play your part in shaping the future of the North of Tyne economy. The North of Tyne Combined Authority is a ground-breaking organisation, with the transfer of unprecedented new powers from Government to the North of Tyne. We will make an ambitious contribution to the lives of local people, with a clear priority to help the communities we serve to fulfil their true potential – in all aspects of life.

The North of Tyne Combined Authority will be managing and allocating an Investment Fund of £600 million for the next 30 years, in a range of economic development projects. In addition, we have recently agreed with Government a further £24m over the next 5 years to deliver the Brownfield Housing Fund.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to manage the delivery of a portfolio of capital and revenue projects, ensuring opportunities for added value are maximised and that our investments achieve envisaged outcomes, significantly contributing to the growth and development of the North of Tyne.

The role is suitable for a pro-active self-starter with a background in economic development or housing investment programmes. The postholder should also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

If you are interested in this opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

At North of Tyne Combined Authority, we don’t just accept difference, we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our team, our mission, and our residents. We are proud to embrace diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.
