Middlesbrough front door duty assessment teams are looking for experienced, qualified social workers who want to be part of our multi- agency supported assessment team; co located with our front door and strategic partners including Police, Health, CAHMS and education.
As a social worker in the assessment teams you will be passionate about ensuring that children and young people in the borough get the right help at the right time and that they have a voice in the work that you do.
You will be a qualified social worker who preferably has experience in Children’s Safeguarding including undertaking assessments, carrying out s47 Investigations, working with children and families to formulate safety plans, risks assessments and child in need plans. You will have the skills to work in partnership with partner agencies such as health colleagues, police and housing to name a few with the advantage of being co-located with the multi-agency front door team.
