North Tyneside Council is offering an exciting opportunity for two individuals to join our high performing Sport and Leisure team. We are specifically looking to recruit two Leisure Assistants to work across our indoor leisure sites.

We currently have 5 fantastic indoor leisure facilities across the borough that attract a high number of visitors. Our facilities include multi-functional fitness suites, swimming pools, sports halls, studios and outdoor pitches.

Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own. They will always supervise and ensure the safety of the public.

It is essential that applicants have an up to date RLSS pool lifeguard qualification or equivalent. In addition, please note these posts require an enhanced DBS check

You may be required to work at any site across the borough. At all sites you will be required to work a shift pattern inclusive of early starts, late finishes and weekend work.
