Children’s and Joint Commissioning Services have an exciting opportunity for 2 Residential Social Care Officers to join our experienced staff team at Exmoor Grove Children’s Short Breaks Service and Residential Setting within Hartlepool. The aim of the home is to provide high quality care for children aged 5 to 18 years who have a Learning Disability and associated Challenging Behaviour. The home is currently judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted.
The post holder will possess a passion for working with children and support them to develop skills enabling them to build a positive future. In addition you will be expected to display a strong team spirit, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work across internal departments and with external agencies.
The post holder will possess appropriate qualifications as listed in the person specification. You will receive appropriate training opportunities as part of your continuous professional development.
