The Governors of Aim High Academy Trust wish to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to support the leadership structure at Dubmire Academy. We are looking for skilled trust personnel who can help take the academy forward to its next phase.
We are looking for someone who:
? Is self-motivated and enthusiastic
? Is passionate about teaching and has a commitment to pupils’ high achievement
? can act as a lead role in the Senior Leadership Team
? Is able to raise the quality of learning for all pupils
? Has the communication skills to inspire staff, students and parents
? Will lead, motivate and develop colleagues promoting high expectations
? Is a team player, able to promote partnership across the school community
? Is an outstanding practitioner
? Is well organised and has a ‘can do’ attitude
? can lead and manage teaching and learning (curriculum development) and assessment (formative & summative)
? can advise and demonstrate to staff an exciting, stimulating and creative curriculum for all (and monitor impact).
? can be a Performance Management Team Leader for staff involved in pupil support, teachers and NQTs.
? can manage CPD for classroom based staff ensuring their needs are identified and met through quality training opportunities within available resources.
? can assist in the assessment and monitoring of progress of all pupils.
? can support the Headteacher in her safeguarding duties
This post will be non-class based.
